Enriching IFSAM’s soft policy statement with insights from the management research field in Brazil
8 September 2022
20:00 CEST
In this round table, experts involved in the evaluation on research quality, programmes and projects in Brazil will discuss recent developments in the country´s institutional environment and their implications for management research and academic careers. They will relate these developments to IFSAM General Assembly’s position statement on research, which puts forward recommendations seeking to give a renewed impetus to engaged scholarship, international collaboration, and research integrity. The position statement was developed through a series of webinars that gave voice to representatives from many of the major stakeholder groups involved in management research: presidents of scholarly associations of management, management journal editors, academic administrators, publishers (including the Financial Times), governmental agencies and councils responsible for management research evaluation and funding, as well as management practitioners and consultants.
