New perspectives and pathways for impact in a precarious world
For the 2024 Congress, IFSAM’s 17th, we have decided to tackle major challenges facing the world of business & management higher education, and to focus on the up-and-coming generation of new scholars in our community. Our round table sessions address the various pressures shaping the institutional context within which we work, the pressing need for business schools to make their work relevant to the climate emergency and other aspects of sustainability, and the remarkable insights and innovations that can come from considering indigenous management and decolonization. We also introduce a new IFSAM initiative, the IFSAM Futures Academy, through a roundtable session featuring a number of IFSAM early career researchers.
These sessions will be of great interest and value to leaders of scholarly associations in business & management, but also to the wider scholarly community, and to those leading research, education and engagement with practice in our various business schools and universities. We hope to see you at the Congress!
